Stopping to smell the sun soaked roses today. Sometimes I fall victim to over complicating and over thinking my work. I wanted to paint something more impressionistic, simple and more about the movement of the brush. I crave a lot of structure and lines in my artwork, but sometimes I need the opposite, which flowers provide a relief.
Weekends are meant for simplifying aren't they?
