Wow! I know this paintings are surprisingly simple but the rich use of color and restraint of depth is pretty stunning. These paintings make me want to just run away and go on vacation and then sit on a beach with a large fruffy cocktail with an umbrella. Care to join?

The colors in these paintings strike me deeply. It's amazing how colors can alter our mood, isn't it? One of them looks angry, the other,happy, and the other, cheerful. Such a talent.

oh, these are just gorgeous. they don't look simple to me at all. i have tried to re-create simple paintings and well, i have learned what looks simple, just really isn't ;)

These are STUNNING! I just love them. His color choice reminds me of Rothko, but they're so much more watery, less controlled, and I really, really like that.
