Big 400 #10- Lets go Bowling

This is the last and final painting for the Big 400.  I can't believe I have painted them all and I always think it's going to be easier every year but nope I'm work it's a challenge.  I have always loved this bowling alley's sign and now it's owned by a chain but I am so happy that they kept the big glowing retro sign and they have kept it in really good condition.  Back in college one Tim and I favorite things to do was go bowling! and Tim is the funniest bowler.  He sort of bowls like he pushes the ball with all of his might and falls over when he releases the ball.  Just thinking about it makes me laugh and it's almost as awesome as his dance skills.

Today is a Nora day- she has been up all night the last couple of nights with teething and has been chewing on her crib.  So we are off to her favorite place the library and then planning on baking some cookies.

What are you up to today?

Oil Painting on 8X8 wood board.

Love it! I haven't been bowling in so long. The first time I went bowling with my husband in college, I bowled a 200 after telling him I was not good at it. It was a total fluke, but it's in my genes. My grandma is in the Oregon Bowling Hall of Fame!

but I can't say I miss it, I'm awful at bowling!

My husband was on a bowling league back in the day, so I refuse to bowl against him. He is so competitive and I don't stand a chance against him, so it's not even fun.

400?!? Congratulations!

You might be sorry you asked that question. We rescued a horse last weekend, and I'm taking a sample of her manure to the vet for analysis this morning. She has terrible parasites, and I did an initial deworming on Sunday, so we need to see what worms are left to figure out what type of dewormer to use next. She's looking much better already though!

Hope your little one gets relief from the teething.

My friends and I used to bowl a lot in high school, I loved it, but I haven't been in awhile! That would be a fun date night with the husband soon!
