I have been going the last couple of months to the Portland Preservation Society which is a group that gets together once a month and swaps their latest home made goods. So if you made a ton of pickled beets or maybe made a ton of peach jam then you can trade for delicious goodies. I have to say I have gotten some amazing things in the swaps such as Kim Chi, smoked salmon and fig mustard. The Kim Chi was so good that Tim has been pestering me to learn how to make it.
I made a bunch of stuff this month like Chai, Srircha, and picked radishes- and made these adorable labels for the jars. Click here to free download. and I can not wait to make more things in jars!

These are SO cute! I want to learn/start pickling!
Those labels are adorable. Also, next time we have some sort of craft night, I want to try your chai!
Adorable! Though canning isn't a big part of our culture, but I can see these would have many other uses, like gift tags and book labels :)
Thank u for the cute labels! Maybe I will finally make my jars prettier. I always end up tired and skip the final touch(honestly:-)) x
i have been wanting to do this! but haven't gotten around to it. i must look into it. and oh my god. kim chi? really? i couldn't eat kim chi for the longest time because it was just too spicy for me. my ears would literally hurt. lol. but then college changed everything. :) those labels are the cutest things ever!

Your canning labels are adorable! I've not canned anything, but the labels are so darned cute, I almost want to give it a go... What a great idea to have a group where people can exchange things.
I've always wanted to make preserves. As it is now, I only have mason jars for decoration or flower vases :) These are seriously cute. xo
Canning is a good thing!
