It has really cooled off this week and I can see the changes in the trees and the rains have started. I always think fall smells a little a different- that crisp smell- that hint that Christmas is right around the corner. I do love summer time, but I think my new favorite season is fall and we are getting ready for the holidays.
Coffee Season. I am slightly addicted to delicious, dreamy coffee. I know I don't really need an excuse for a coffee beverage, but fall I think is when coffee tastes especially perfect.
Fall is also soup season! Don't you just love a big bowl of heart filled goodness?
I love being cooped up in the studio especially during fall. It seems like I always get my best ideas in the fall time- or at least they seem like good ideas :).
Fine... I will admit it- I am super excited to carve the pumpkin. I have started crafting detailed plans of the surgery of mr. pumpkin. :) I can't wait!

I'm sooo with you on the coffee thing!!! It tastes like magic this time of year. In fact, you should TOTALLY come in to Three Friends on a Weds.(9:30-4:30) and I will make you something yummy. Or we should just have a coffee date.
fall is my favorite season<3 Big chunky sweaters, lace-up boots, oatmeal, soup, hot chocolate, the crisp air...colorful leaves...I just love it all.

I hate fall but you're making it sound quite good right now. Like you say, Fall coffee is quite something else. There will be a few new Starbucks flavours I'll need to try for sure.
OH your are getting me so excited!!! It does start to cool off here in October, but that means 80's during the day, 60's in the evening. Which means JEANS! I love jeans, and wearing sweaters, boots, and then getting back into knitting!! I am already looking for a new pattern to knit. Apple and pumpkin pies, the smell of cinnamon, Halloween, and the leaves changing--though we have to travel to go see those. Yay!! Thanks for the happy thoughts!
I'm so excited about fall so i can pumpkin pick! and wear hoodies!Although I am a little upset the weather went from 89 degrees every day to 59 degrees. I like when fall is more gradual!

I love hot drinks and comfort foods as well. My husband and I are looking forward to picking apples and getting a pumpkin next month.
i love when it gets dark earlier. i really do. coming home, making a hot tea, and wrapping up in a blanket to read or watch netflix in autumn makes me feel soooo good :)

I'm looking forward to making yummy pumpkin treats (cookies, bread, etc), drinking hot chocolate with my hunny, driving through the mountains to see beautiful leaves, and wearing cute fall clothes:)
Yeah, I love fall. I love the clouds we get around here, and the not so hot weather and there is something in the air that is at no other time of year : )

I love coffee (with lots of milk!)... it's the perfect fall drink. And it's a comfort drink for me... when I drink coffee, I feel warm and fuzzy :)
