First of all I am the worst secret Santa of all time. I completed a secret Santa with a blog exchange on Elfster and I missed the dead line... in fact it missed Christmas... because the paint was drying and I wanted to make it extra special. It's the thought that counts.. and a present still gets to happen. right?
I painted a little ballerina. Have you seen the movie Black Swan? It reminded me of when I took ballet when I was little and the ballet teacher stuck me in the back of the class because I was bad and had no turn out. My ballerina career was over at 7 years old.
Oil on Canvas- Painting being shipped to Texas! Yoda double checked the painting and ready to go!

I love this! My ballet career ended at 16 after a back injury. :(
I'm sure she appreciated the gift, late or not! It's beautiful!
Geeze Louise that is an amazing secret santa gift! Wow, it's so awesome!
Wow Mandy! You were a ballerina? That's so amazing :) I only lasted a couple of months.
I love this, the lines are so great E!
Beautiful!
I love the colors, usually stick with light or at least not very bright colors myself when painting.
Can't wait to see Black Swan. Ballet was something I always enjoyed when I was little, but I never really got that passionate about it.
You will love the movie :) and the outfits are simple awesome!
You are so talented! I bet the recipient will not care one bit that it is late :)
Absolutely lovely!
Sorry your ballet career ended so soon though. :o(
Thanks for the blog comment, I'd love if you followed! :o)

It's definitely the thought that counts with gift giving! :)
I love your painting ... but I'm yet to see Black Swan, it's on my must watch list before I go back to work.
Your puppy is so cute ... :)
Happy New Year Erika - 2011 is going to be AMAZING!!
you have a nice blog page. I hope you time to visit
mine and give me some advice
Ballerinas are so fascinating. And yes, it's the thought that counts!!
Happy new year!!
Oh that makes me laugh so hard (a sympathetic laugh, of course!) because my ballet career was also over at 7 when my teacher made me be the Caboose of a ballet train. I was NOT having it. I wanted to be the engine, thank you very much. The painting is gorgeous and I'm sure the recipient was thrilled to extend the holiday season just a little longer when they received it!
